Dolomites – The Wonderland
If you have ever been to the Italian Alps, you know that they are a sight to behold. With breathtaking views, skiing and hiking trails galore, and plenty of restaurants serving up delicious food, it’s no wonder that so many people come here every year.
The Lago di Braies is a beautiful lake just outside the village of Braies. The castle of Andraz is located on a hill above the lake, with stunning views of the surrounding area. The Baita G. Segantini is another great place for hiking and taking in the scenery. It’s in the town of Sesto Dolomites, and has been open since 1910! Alpe Di Siusi is another great option for hikers and mountain bikers alike; it has over 100 km (62 miles) of trails that allow you to explore the area at your own pace. Tre Cime National Park is home to three peaks known as “the three sisters” because they look like sisters standing together—one taller than the others! It’s a great place for hiking or biking as well; there are over 60 km (37 miles) of trails available for exploration!
